I received an email about it this morning. A grant is being looked into, to fund the remaining 3 officers needed.

This is going to be a very good program if/when they are able to get it going.

What would really be great is if all the members of the police department lived inside the City of Youngstown.

What does that have to do with what the Chief wants to do? Get over it, the Courts have ruled that city employees DO NOT have to live inside the city. NOTHING CAN CHANGE THAT, so please get over it.

It's still much better if all city employees lived in the city and also lived among the people who employ them.

Here is what you can do:
1. Circulate petitions statewide to mandate that people working for towns, villages, and citys in Ohio must live in the communities they work in.
2. Hire a team of lawyers to have the current rules overthrown.
3. Be prepared to take it to the U. S. Supreme Court.
Are you prepared to personally to take the lead, or do you want to wait for someone else to do it my friend?
