Title: CHEAP GAS
Post by: Towntalk on December 14, 2014, 06:45:47 PM
As of 12-14-2014 at 6:40 p.m. est the West Sde has the highest prices for gas ... $2.63 to $2.65 a gallon while the cheapest is $2.49 at Speedway at 4210 Belmont Avenue. WHY is gas so high on the West Side?

It has been said that west side residents pay the bulk of the city's property taxes and the bulk of the city's income taxes.  West side residents are keeping the city afloat.

And the Boulevard Park - Brownlee Woods - Cochran Park neighborhoods aren't exactly slums.

On the other hand, the area north of Mahoning Avenue isn't exactly heaven on earth.

I guess that the fine folks on the West Side are willing to pay more for their gas by supporting West Side gas stations than the poor peons on the other sides of town who are paying less per gallon.
