The Downtown Business Alliance of Youngstown, Ohio is a collaborative forum of stakeholders in the downtown business district who, as business owners, executives and leaders of nonprofit organizations, desire to enhance the image and economic vitality of downtown.  DBAY helps promote the business, residential and entertainment opportunities the city core offers spearheading unified marketing and public relations effort.

I think downtown deserves its own councilmember, instead of sharing one with the east side. Obviously the needs of downtown and the needs of the east side do not coincide, as indicated by the creation of downtown specific organizations such as this.

Interesting to notice the absence of community organizers from this group.  Maybe regentrification got in the way.
