Title: Society for Industrial Archeology Tours Youngstown
Post by: Rick Rowlands on August 13, 2006, 08:15:10 AM
The SIA Fall Tour will be in Youngstown September 28 thru October 1, 2006.  Industrial historians from across the county will be here to see industrial facilities and relics that most local residents wouldn't think twice about.

You have planned a very busy weekend for the group.  I noticed that you were having a dinner at the Unitarian Church in Youngstown.  The Church's steeple is in the process of being painted.  Was the painting in preparation for your visit?

I didn't plan the event.  This was the brainchild of history Prof.Tom Leary at YSU.  I will be showing off the Tod Engine Heritage Park and acting as guide on one of the tour buses.  I don't even know where the Unitarian church is located at yet.

OK I found the church. I thought that was a presbyterian church for some reason.
