Title: Wick Avenue Power Lines May Go Underground
Post by: jay on January 16, 2014, 08:26:04 AM
Wick Avenue activists have proposed a project to remove the overhead power lines and poles and relocate the wires underground along the cultural corridor of Wick Avenue.  Funding is being sought for the project.

This is a swell idea that should have been done long ago, and the idea isn't just confined to activists, but by many people here on the Norh Side who would like to see it done all over our side of town.

I think its a great idea also, provided the city can find funding.  Iwasthere makes a good
point regarding the city's looming 2 million dollar deficit.
