As the Mayoral election heats up, what sums it up for me is a comment at dinner from a friend who stated his 90 year old mother rebuked Youngstown and said, "it is embarassing to the world what is public on the mayoral race and the Betres firings."
Namely, how the african American politicians use the race card right off the cuff and Kitchen with a $70,000 salary with no credentials. Not to discount McNally's troubles. Youngstown is surely heading the way Detroit went and the local private sector is just going to let it run its course.
Face it people, we have cried and beat our chest for such a long time and we will fail to stop the corruption. Why is there depopulation even when the community organizers tout Downtown? Because taxpayers are mostly voting with their feet as they vacate Youngstown.
