Here is a perfect example of the absolutely total irresponsibility of each and every one of our city officials, the Mayor, his assistant, and City Council, and every other city department that is involved in this matter. This is not only inexcusable but it is also unforgivable by any measure or standard.

Just finished a deconstruction job in Poland, harvested over 500 feet of antique hemlock plank for flooring. This wood sells for $4.50 a sq. ft., it cost under $300 to do the deconstruction of the 1939 carriage house. The 5" plank is already sold and will be a private dance floor.
