It looks as though the rain will hold off until later in the day on Saturday. Join us on Federal Plaza East after you are done planting. We will have a nice lunch prepared by local restaurants.
Many west side residents are helping to plant downtown and along Mahoning Avenue.
About a dozen westsiders from the Rocky Ridge Neighborhood helped with the planting today. Fourth Ward Councilman Mike Ray rolled up his sleeves and worked his bowtie off.

I pulled weeds and hauled mulch on West Federal Street. I met and had lunch with some wonderful people from the west side and south side.
the blvd pk bw does ongoing beautification yr ard. so, i was not dt but i do donate every yr towards this cause.
