Due to a strike by waste haulers, curbside and drop-off recycling programs in Mahoning County have been suspended.
An alternative
If you are heading toward Warren, Ohio, you can take your sorted recyclables to the Howland Recycling Center, 3590 N. River Road, Howland Township. The recycling center operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
i cannot wait for the strike to end nor have the desire to go to warren. i will burn the items then throw the ashes into a compost pile.
The strike has ended just in time for Earth Day. Collection of recyclable will resume.
