Since our friend Jay refuses to answer the question that he posed some weeks ago, in my research on the subject of this thread I traced references to Lansingville as far back as the 1800's before that area was incorporated into the city of Youngstown. It was an unincorporated area with no established local government of it's own that consisted of land that was purchased by the Powers family. What their connection was to Lansing, I couldn't determine, and since Jay doesn't want to share his information, it will be open to debate.
