Title: 3,800 petition signatures submitted for citizens fracking charter amendment
Post by: irishbobcat on February 06, 2013, 06:29:32 PM
Members of Frack Free Mahoning Valley gathered outside Youngstown City Hall Wednesday afternoon, toting what they said are more than 3,800 signed petitions. They're hoping to have an amendment to the city's charter placed on the May primary ballot to restore local government control over drilling activity inside city limits.

The group needs just over 2,800 of the petitions to be certified by the Mahoning County Board of Elections to go forward.

A Village in PA voted to ban drilling.  The local Clinton well energy company shut off everyone's gas.
Keep it up and let's see if you can survive without gas, it is not supplied by the government, it is private so it can be shut off.  It is very easy to stop fracking guys, stop using its product and drilling will stop cold ......and so will you.
Let's be real people, drilling will never stop until we stop sucking on it........it is because we suck that they frack.
