According to today's Vindicator,


Utica Shale area smaller than some thought, bodes well for Valley

For some reason, the entire Mahoning county is the only county that sits entirely on the wet gas zone of the Utica shale; the most valuable of the three zones (wet gas, oil, dry gas).  Carrol county the most drilled is only half on the wet gas zone and southeastern Columbiana seems to be dry gas.
Maybe the gods have pity on Youngstown.
