The Butler Institute of American Art is searching for local artists to display their work for this year's Area Artists Exhibition.
The museum annually showcases work from professional and amateur artists in the five-county area.
Any kind of art is permissible. Youngstown State University art history professor Stephanie Smith will be this year's juror.
The show will display 125 works and the entry form deadline is Jan. 8. The exhibit will open March 24.
"It always is a wonderful exhibition and something to look forward too," said Butler Art Museum Executive Director Louis Zona. "But, we need artists to apply so that we can present a very, very special exhibit this year."
