Title: New Years 2012-13
Post by: Towntalk on December 30, 2012, 11:37:06 PM
In accordance with the natural scheme of things, it's winter, and in accordance with the natural scheme of things, that means snow, and in accordance with the grand scheme as defined by Mother Nature, it's beneficial contrary to the views as expressed by television weather readers.

But it is also New Years, and in the grand and glorious scheme of things, people are going to venture out to celebrate, and while that is in the natural course of things, many will drink too much and will unfortunately drive home drunk as a skunk, and that is not a good thing unless you are a tow truck driver, or a collision repair shop owner.

For some, this will be their last New Years, and we will ask, were those extra drinks worth it?

Let us all hope that among those unfortunates, none are family members or friends, and that we canmove into 2013, safe and eager for the new adventures that the new year will offer, and with that thought in mind, may I take this opportunity to wish each and everyone of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
