Mexican company looking to buy some of Hostess products and move the operation there.

Mexico's Grupo Bimbo, the world's largest bread making firm, has put their name in the hat as one of the companies interested in purchasing the rights to Twinkies and the other delectable delights that Hostess created.

While other groups have expressed interest in the Hostess brands, Grupo Bimbo offered up $580 million a few years ago. Forbes puts Hostess manufacturing worth more like only $135 million today.

I am sure if Hostess is bought out by a Mexican company and they start making Twinkies south of the border
it will show up in the next GOP political commerical in 2016.....

The closing of the west side Hostess Bakery complex means the loss of 30 jobs in the city.  The city will no longer receive the employees' and corporated income tax.
