I don't believe these new homes built in Youngstown are more than six years old. Some of the properties are already deteriorating. This one has high grass, a broken garage door, and a tire in the front yard.
Any comments?
It boggles the mind that there are people who can make such little effort to take care of--and take no pride in--where they live. My parents and grand-parents never had much money, but that didn't stop them from keeping the lawn cut, and garbage out of their front yard.
The garage door may have been low-end, so it may have broken at no fault of the owners/renters.
Looks like it might be a Habitat for Humanity house. From what I understand, you have to go through quite a bit of red tape and effort to qualify for one of those homes. I'm shocked that it isn't kept up. It doesn't even look like anyone lives there.
It's a shame. I'd rather see the old, vacant properties that probably surround that house renovated for new owners, rather than a new one built just so it can become an eyesore too.
Where is this property located?
