Some time ago it was brought up in one of our American Legion Meetings that all the major Bridges over the Mahoning river in the county were named or dedicated. That is except for the bridge in Lowellville.
On Thursday 25 October I will be speaking at the County Commissioners meeting when they vote on a Resolution Naming the Bridge.
Then on 8 November when we have our Veterans Day dinner we will start with a ceremony dedicating the bridge and dropping a wreath into the river in memoriam. Commisioner Trafficanti will attend.
Also remember the laying of the Roses on 4 November at 1 PM at the Vietnam Veterans memorial. And the Veterans Day ceremony in the County Courthouse on 11 Nov at 11 AM....
