I need some ideas for Mahoning Valley places and tours which would be of interest to children. Please list both free tours and tours that charge a fee.
Arms Museum- I believe there is a charge, but I'm not sure how much. I always loved going there when I was a kid.
How about a tour through Schwebel's Bakery on Midlothian? I don't know if they give
tours, but it would be interesting for kids to see how bread is made, and maybe get a
fresh sample at the end of the tour?
:)
We always post a list for the Region One Destinaton Imagination Tournament at YSU in March region1di.org
These activites are local to YSU.
I removed the business hours as they were for that day only.

White House Fruit Farms is another good one.
I've gone on field trips there as a kid as well as with my son and his school. It was very informative as well as fun. Also, it's a good chance for the kids to get outside and enjoy the nice weather while learning something.
I know you will need a group of kids to go, they won't do individual tours.
MillCreek has some interesting activities planned for June

not tours though.
