Title: What's with the blue ribbons?
Post by: irishbobcat on September 04, 2012, 03:50:52 PM
Driving through downtown today I notice blue/green ribbons tied to most of the trees along West Federal as well as by the statue at Federal and Market....

Anyone know the reason?

Did Tony Orlando go color blind?

The group of women working with the cancer group put them there symbolizing the fight against ovarian cancer.

Teal is a low-saturation color, a bluish-green to dark medium, similar to medium blue-green and dark cyan. It can be created by mixing green with blue into a white base, or deepened as needed with a little bit of black or gray color.
