why have it on sunday when the buses do not run?

Because most of the friends of transit are bus drivers?

St. Patrick's church has a once-a-month spaghetti dinner in the hall anyway.  The kitchen is well suited for the task of making this type of dinner.  Hundreds of people leaving Sunday services would be able to attend this spaghetti dinner fund raiser.

I hope all supporters of the WRTA are able to attend this spaghetti dinner today.

A basket raffle will also be held so bring some extra cash to buy chances for some wonderful prizes.
