Title: Thanks, Sarge
Post by: irishbobcat on May 28, 2012, 07:47:55 AM
Sarge, saw your picture and article in the Vindy today regarding the lost veteran graves.

Thank you for making sure these veterans are never forgotten "again" and always remembered.

A job well done.

Thank you.

Today as part of my way of celebrating Memorial Day listened to the Complete CBS Radio coverage of D-Day and thoughts of my Step Father maneuvering his Sherman tank onto Utah Beach as part of the 743d Tank Battalion - Company C. He was a 30 year vet, and a great Stepfather.

OK Shrimp, don't make me older than I already feel.

For those who missed it I was also interviewed on WFMJ. But seriously it's nothing any Sergeant wouldn't have done.
