Title: City Council Needs A Wireless Microphone
Post by: jay on May 17, 2012, 05:53:47 AM
At the city council meeting this week, a blind man was allowed to address council. The gentleman was called up to speak but first he had to navigate around several people in the audience, find the swinging door into the council area, and then find the podium to the right of the President of Council's desk.   Someone finally came forward to lead him to the microphone.  It would have been more convenient if the council chambers had a wireless microphone that could have been taken to this gentleman where he originally was seated.
