SMARTS Store Offers Holiday Gifts
If you're holiday shopping for a truly unique gift this year you may want to check out the SMARTS store in downtown Youngstown.
It's located in the DeYor building on Federal Plaza and it's filled with one-of-a-kind creations by YSU students as well as local and national artists. On the shelves you'll find jewelry, pottery, hats, scarves and much more.
"We also have a selection of ornaments that SMARTS students actually made in our holiday cheer class this year and one of our featured items is our holiday cards which feature photographs that SMART students have taken in our class," said SMARTS Program Coordinator, Leslie Cusano.
The holiday sale runs every Tuesday through Thursday until Christmas.
All proceeds will benefit the SMARTS program in their mission to bring the arts to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
