Title: Bus Route Signs
Post by: jay on November 29, 2011, 08:29:12 PM
The changable WRTA bus route signs appear on the front and right side of the bus.  I think a route sign should also be on the left side of the bus.

I have seen many European buses. Some do have something on the back to spot a route number. I have never seen it where you suggest.

Being that we drive on the right side of the road here in the United States, and that passengers always board the
bus on the passenger side, this is probably why they do not have a route sign on the driver side of the bus.  If
a passenger is expecting to get on the bus, they would be at the appropriate place, ie: the bus stop - and if they
are standing where they are supposed to be ,they would see both the front of the bus and the passenger side
as it approaches the stop....

Right?
