Title: Arsoned House Gets Demolished

After months of waiting, this arsoned house on Wellington was finally demolished this week.

Chuck Sammarone has the right idea - he said he isn't waiting for contractors, he just
calls the street department and they go and tear it down the next day.  What the hell does
the city need a contractor for when it's just a tiny little house - they probably took it down
with a backhoe in no time flat.

There are probably lots and lots of smaller houses like this one that the city could raze without
having to bring in a contractor - and do it much cheaper.

It would be nice to see the burned out one in the 2700 block of Oakwood torn down.  I'm sick of driving past it and seeing it make the neighborhood look awful!
