Title: Paramount theater today
Post by: Towntalk on August 30, 2011, 12:42:01 PM
Most recent pictures of the Paramount Theater. As you can see, there is absolutely nothing that can be salvaged from the interior.

If the interior is this bad, what shape is the front wall in?

There is a big difference between decorative plaster, and masonry/steel.

Thanks for the link!

I saved a copy of that web page with the photos in it.  It's good that someone has photo-documented the building.
At least people will be able to see what was there, after the building is torn down.  So many historic structures in
Youngstown have been torn down with no images to document their existence.

I need to start adding more of these types of photos to the "Lost Treasures" section of the website......

:(

If you put the pictures on your website be sure to credit Mike and leave the lable in as they are copywritten.

CinemaTreasures has photos of a large number of Youngstown theaters that I posted there.
