Title: CarFree Day - Thursday, September 22

Every September 22, people from around the world get together in the streets, intersections, and neighbourhood blocks to remind the world that we don't have to accept our car-dominated society.

Residents of the Mahoning Valley are encouraged to plan their own CarFree Day events for Thursday, September 22.

Some bicycle riders are planning a tour of Youngstown for Saturday, September 24.  The cycling event will start at Crandall Park.

Walk Hour Youngstown members will also participate.

Transit riders are encouraged to stop at the Lemon Grove Cafe during the afternoon.
