this story is what is wrong with this city, a lack of enforcement.

Not that I disagree, but if the city did force them to comply sooner, you'd have people complaining that the city is unfriendly to business.

Question for Westsider:

Since the building has long since ceased to resemble by anyone's description the original Dollar Bank Building, does it possess any historical value?

IMO yes, because the original facade--although damaged--is still underneath, and could be restored.

westsider i do not beliieve businesses would say the same thing if this bldg was in the suburbs because the powers to be would not stand for blighten disreguard for code enforcements in thier townships nor thier villages or cities. business leaders think differently when it comes to ytown because the leadership in ytown is nonexistance in code enforcement.
