Title: Commerative Hockey Puck
Post by: jay on March 29, 2006, 12:08:23 PM
I wasn't able to receive one of the commerative hockey pucks from last weekend's Sleelhounds game.   I would like to see one.

Thanks for the loan of the commerative puck.   How many of these were sold?

The pucks were given to the 1st 2,000 people who entered the centre that night.  The people were given a ticket when they walked in and redeemed the ticket on their way out after the game for the puck.  Who put up the bucks for the pucks?  Good question.

Also, with all the talk about Youngstown losing money on parking fees on tickets:  The parking fees were included in Steelhounds tickets by those who ACTUALLY BOUGHT THEM.   The tickets that they lost money on were those that were given away.  The person(s) who gave them away did not pay the parking fees on them.

The majority of those who got free tickets didn't even bother to go to the games.  Sold Out signs were put up at the centre, leaving so many seats empty that people who really wanted to BUY tickets couldn't.
