Title: Quiz for a rainy Thursday
Post by: Towntalk on May 19, 2011, 09:04:19 AM
A What and Where Quiz

What was this building, and where was it located?

In the greater scheme of things this should be an easy one to answer.

Does the building still exist?

Yes so far as I know. You may have been in that building at least once over the years.

Isn't it on the Southside off of Oak Hill or Hillman and is now fenced and private?

Shrimp,

I think you're onto something there... I remember the building you're referring to in that area...
looks like it has some kind of power equipment, like transformers or something - inside the fenced
area now.

I think it may have been some kind of police substation - or school - at some time in the past (?)

Sorry but you're both wrong. It's not on Oak Hill. It's further east.

Thought so. I grew up just 2 blocks down the road from there.
