Post by: jay on April 28, 2011, 08:34:37 PM
Starting Monday, May 2, 2011, WRTA will only accept fare cards, tickets or cash for payment on buses.

All tickets can be purchased at the Federal Station.

Adult tickets can be purchased with cash at the new, self-serving vending machines located at Federal Station.

The DayPass will cost only $3.00.  You will be able to purchase the DayPass at the fare box on the bus by inserting your money and having the driver punch the DayPass code into the machine.  The DayPass ticket will then be issued from the farebox.

One of the new fairboxes is on display in the lobby of the Federal Station.  A bus driver is there to show the public how it works.
