Title: Redistricting In The Mahoning Valley
Post by: jay on March 10, 2011, 06:19:54 AM
Now that we have the new census data, when will redistricting take place?

Will the districts be redrawn before the primary election in 2012?

CAN YOU SAY GOP

There was talk earlier that the 17th would not change since the GOP is after bigger target districts but don't hold your breath, or put any money down on it.

On the local level, the city should consider doing away with one of the ward councilperson positions, and
re-draw the ward map(s) to co-incide with the current population.... maybe?
