For those who never heard an opera, this would be a great opportunity to learn a little about it. From early childhood I was raised on Opera via the Metropolitan Opera Company's Saturday afternoon broadcasts.

Watch this clip of a 9 year old girl singing an aria from an opera.

This young lady had entered Holland's Got Talent and went on to be the  winner that year.

I've been told that only about forty people attended this opera performance.

Opera was an one act in which the ending left the audience speechless. Jf i used to listen to the Met every Sat afternoon on 88.5 ysufm until they replaced it with a silly game show.
