I, like quite a few others, am allergic to peanuts.

Unlike doing drugs on purpose, I do my best to NOT be exposed to peanuts but it can randomly happen from time to time.

Why do people choosing to risk death by fentenal get a free dose, or more, of Narcan while those of us avoiding peanuts have to spent well over $500 to have an Epipen that has an expiration date of about 1 yr?

Another related question:
Why do police know exactly how to use the Narcan (and probably what pocket they keep it in) but would have no idea that I had my Epipen in my pocket while I'm laying there dying from an alergy reaction?

Maybe they would just stab me with the Narcan and wonder why it didn't work.

And I'm not bashing police, they aren't exactly medical profesionals I just don't like the government's thought process to save people doing risky things on purpose and ignoring those doing their best to avoid bad outcomes.

I'm pretty sure the Narcan is in nasal spray form.

One of many Narcan videos on Youtube.
