There are over 25,000 gas wells already producing in Ohio, and there has never been a report of a single water well or source having been polluted. Gas wells are drilled down through thousands of feet of solid rock, and the water table that we depend on is only a few hundred feet deep. Oh, and the fracking media, is 99% water.

Fracking has been going on for decades in Ohio.  You are a bit late on this Dennis.

This morning's Vindicator article about John Kasich wanting to go after drilling of
gas shale on a huge statewide basis should be of concern to all valley residents.

To think huge-scale fracking of gas will solve Ohio's economic crisis is unwise
thinking. It can't be done.

And the enivornmental impact will hurt folks who get their water from wells and such.

Fracking will become another costly environmental clean-up if it goes on-line and in full
scale production.

It's time for the Green Party of Ohio and valley residents to stand opposed to fracking.
