Figures you'd like it....written by another fat cat evil NEO-CON!

The homeless do not go without food.  Stop by the rescue mission on MLK to see for yourself.  The elderly do not go without medicine.  Medicare and medicaid took care of that.  Veterans do recieve treatment at any number of VA hospitals, go to Belmont Ave. to see it yourself.  Your 60 million figure is misleading at best.  What the CDC says is that 60 million people have had gaps in coverage over the course of a year. That could mean anything.  A gap implies that there is insurance coverage at both ends of the gap.  10% go without paychecks?  Actually that number is really 5% since 5% unemployment is considered full employment.

What are our priorities?  Freedom, Liberty, the right to own property, the right for all Americans, regardless of color, creed or INCOME LEVEL, to be treated fairly and equally.  Those should be our priorities!

Where are our priorities, Neo-Con Rick ?

The homeless go without food. The elderly go without medicine. The mentally ill go without treatment. Veterans go without benefits that were promised them. 60 million men, women and children go without health insurance. 10% go without paychecks. Yet we'll give billions in tax breaks to the wealthiest 2%?

"White House myopia on tax politics is truly stunning. It's true that some polls have found that a majority of Americans favor Obama's idea of letting the Bush tax cuts "sunset" for the very rich, but there remains a strong reflexive reaction against the idea of tax increases for anyone.

By choosing to engage in class warfare and drawing a $250,000-a-year line in the sand separating the rich from everyone else, the president fueled a simmering debate over what it means to be wealthy in a society in which everyone dreams of climbing the social and economic ladder. Those dreams help explain overwhelming opposition to "death" taxes that affect less than 0.6% of all estates.

Obsessing about the $250,000 threshold meant the president and his lieutenants were constantly using words Americans just don't want to hear: tax increases, no matter how small the group that would be affected."

Well who could argue with proof like that?

Dennis, Please don't cut and paste that post again, the problem will then be twice as bad.

I defy you to show me a single person who can not get food, or medical care. Or show me a single veteran that can not get care. Show me.

Dennis clearly believes in "From each according to their ability; to each, according to their needs" His motto is "Communism only killed a 100,000,000 million people let's give it another chance."
