Oh by the way, nothing is more mean spirited than taking away a substantial portion of a man's hard earned property under the threat of a gun and imprisonment.

A little over the top, but you certainly can tell that people are fed up with the government taking what it wants from us.  You just don't understand this Dennis, that regardless of what you think, people earn their money and want to keep what is rightfully theirs.  This notion is backed up by the Consititution.  The right to property is a basic HUMAN right.  That right was not given to us by government, it was given to us by our Almighty Creator.  Since govt. did not give us that right, govt. cannot take it away.  Should this unconstitutional bill pass I predict that the anti givernment sentiment will grow even worse, maybe breaking out into violence.  Push an animal into a corner and watch what happens.  The hard working people of this country are being pushed into a corner. Someday soon the government will push too far, and there will be bloodshed.  Read your history, no not your revisionist history book but a real one. You will see that history DOES repeat itself, and we are now reliving the 1770s.
