Cleveland-Youngstown-Pittsburgh Rail Service Needed

December 8, 2008

With the state billions in debt, We have state and federal legislators who
want to spend mega bucks to create more pollution, accidents, and people to pay highway gas taxes by building and increasing the lanes on our super highways.

What is needed is a 70 mile per hour single rail mass transit system that will cost 1/4 of the cost to build more roadways/construction work. People could actually work while taking the mass rail system between Columbus, Youngstown, and Pittsburgh and points in-between.  As well as mass rail lines between Columbus and Pittsburgh, and Cincy, Columbus, and Cleveland.

Build a mass rail transit system and move the area into the 21st century with green
transportation technology.

One train each way, once an hour, downtown to downtown would be a great start. People could work, read, sleep and relax. Cars would stay in driveways. Traffic congestion would decrease. Re-construction on highways would decrease.

We have a transportation energy crisis in this country. Let's get the mass transit rail cars rolling.
