Knowing where a mayoral candidate stands on some of the state and national issues can be very helpful when making your choice for the next mayor.  Keep in mind that many people who seek a state or national office get their start in local races such as mayor, councilman, county commissioner or township trustee.

THE CANDIDATES RUNNING FOR MAYOR ARE ASKING US TO TRUST THEM WITH RUNNING OUR CITY - OUR LIVES-

THE MORE I KNOW ABOUT SOMEONE - THE MORE I CAN TRUST THEM

IF A QUESTION IS ASKED AND THEY DON'T ANSWER - I WONDER WHAT THEY ARE HIDING.

WHEN THEY VOLUNTARILY DIVULGE INFORMATION ABOUT THEMSELVES - THEIR STANCE ON NATIONAL ISSUES FOR EXAMPLE -I FEEL THEY ARE BEING OPEN AND NOT AFRAID TO LET YOU KNOW WHAT THEY THINK. LETTING US GET TO KNOW THEM, AND WHERE THEY STAND. BUILDING TRUST.

Is it wise for a candidate for mayor of Youngstown to take a stance on a national issue?
