"None Of The Above" For Mayor

Lacking nonpartisan elections, I like "None of the Above" as a ballot option.  If "None of the Above" gets the most votes, a new slate of candidates would have to be offered.

Great point. As it stands, a "none of the above" vote is no better than not voting at all, and in a close race could make a big difference, but if it was on the ballot officially, it could result in having to start from scratch, and maby we could get some decent candidates.

Why?Town

When a partial ballot is cast, the lack of vote for a particular position or issue should be "counted". It would be interesting to see how "None of the above"  stacks up against the actual candidates. What if "None of the above" actually won?

Today I talked to a second person who voted early but refused to cast a vote in the mayor's race.
