Four local authors have new historic books with Arcadia Publishing. Sean T. Posey is a freelance writer, photographer and historian. He holds a bachelor's degree in photojournalism from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and a master's degree in history from Youngstown State University. His work has been featured in a wide variety of publications, including the San Francisco Chronicle, CityLab and San Francisco Magazine. Sean's work is featured in the books Car Bombs to Cookie Tables: The Youngstown Anthology and The Pittsburgh Anthology, both by Belt Publishing. His first book, Lost Youngstown, was released this April. He is currently working on election year coverage with Bill Moyers.Cathy Hester Seckman is a lifelong resident of East Liverpool, Ohio, and a graduate of East Liverpool City High School and West Liberty State College (now University). She is a writer, indexer, speaker, and dental hygienist. Arcadia Publishing released her book, East Liverpool, an Images of America title, in May 2015. Seckman is also the author of Weirdo World, a young adult fantasy novel published by Cool Well Press in 2012. She is an indie co-author of Bad Moon Rising, a murder mystery set between Woodstock and the Kent State shootings; and an anthology, H2O Mysteries, in 2013. Her short fiction has been published in several magazines; she has written hundreds of magazine articles and thousands of newspaper articles. Her current project is Secrets Matter, a women's fiction novel co-written with Darlene Torday.
