Almost all of the beams have been erected.  Really quick work

jay

New beams are now on the ground waiting to be installed.

jay

All of the steel framing has now been removed.  The only thing still left standing is the short brick front wall.  The wall is about three feet high.

jay

Today a crane was used to remove the beams from the roof of the building.

jay

Now the roof is being torn off the building.  There is much more fiberglass insulation blowing around the property.

jay

This property is turning into a real mess.

Now the exposed fiberglass insulation from the roof area is falling off and blowing all over the property and onto the street, sidewalk and neighboring yards.

jay

The front of the building has now been removed.

Update

The east, west and back exterior wall panels have now been removed.  Also, the front windows have been removed.

jay

I passed by this store today.  All of the east wall panels have been removed exposing the steel frame structure.

jay

According to a story in the newspaper, this store is going to be rebuilt.
The cost of repairs is approximately $300,000.

jay

I passed by this burned out building today.  Crews were removing boxes of merchandise and placing most of them in dumpsters.

A friend called about a half hour ago and said one of the dollar stores on Mahoning Avenue had a fire today.
