In the past, my mail was usually delivered before 3:00 p.m.  Recently, when I checked the mailbox, there wasn't any mail.

The next day, sometime in the morning, there would be mail in the mailbox.

Today I discovered that the mailman was delivering in the dark using a flashlight.  This has got to be unsafe.
