What are the hours and ages for curfew here?

Actually, Youngstown has had an Ordinance on the books that "holds parents accountable" for years. It is simply not being enforced.

If you remember a few months back they were attempting to cite a mother on the southside, in regards to not being able to account for her son's whereabouts, but something got overlooked in the city prosecutor's office and it didn't move forward.

But will our city council have enough moral strength to do something along the same line?

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that Cleveland council passed a new curfew for 13 and 14 year olds.  The new hours begin at  9:30 pm.  "Parents whose children violate curfew would face penalties ranging from community service to 30 days in jail and a $250 fine. The change marks the start of a broader council effort to create more sweeping laws that hold parents more accountable for their children in Cleveland."

I hope that Youngstown City Council will take note and enact such a curfew here.  More and more on the scanner we hear about juveniles hanging out in abandoned homes, being destructive by smashing the interiors of other houses, and just causing havoc.
