A few weeks ago I joined a facebook group that is devoted to the local media and met many great people in and out of radio and television, and the owner was so impressed by my contributions that he made me a friend on another facebook group yesterday, and before I went to bed last night my mailbox was filling up so fast that I had to do bulk dumps four times. Before facebook, I averaged 10 emails a day, so yesterday's 300 shocked me, and made me just a little happy that so many people liked what little I had to offer. Thanks to our Forum Manager's encouragement I've met and made friends with a whole lot of people from all over the good old U.S. of A.
