As with Mill Creek park, I understand that Meander is HBP (held by production)-meaning they are both leased and have older Clinton wells surrounding the acreage.  The Utica and Point pleasant formations underneath will be harvested and there is nothing the protestors can do about what is legal and scientifically sound.  Both large acreage will generate milions of funds to the people of this Valley, "long live free enterprise!"

there is always the possibility that a accidental industrial accident can happen from these gas and oil drilled sites. why would any governmental leader would want to put in harms way of destroying their cash cow aka meander llake that brings in additional revenue in ffor the city coffers.

You don't want leaders to weigh facts before making decisions?

Can anyone here reveal scientific fact and studies that contamination occured into reservoirs by migration, remember no energy company is interested in shallow water drilling-only to lease minerals 8000 feet below parks and lakes.
