Why are the coffers running dry? Because private enterprise believes business/corporations
have an "entitlement attitude"....They believe they are entitled to not have to pay any type of education tax....

How dare school districts place any type of tax on a business or corporation..... for shame.....

I guess since business/corporations believe it is ok to pay minimum wage salary to workers, educators should only
receive a minimum wage as well and students should only receive a minimum education....

Private enterprise/business/corporations will no longer refill because they are cheap and selfish.....

And the trough continues to empty.  Private enterprise will no longer refill.

There is a bleak financial future for the Boardman school system, according to the district's treasurer.

On Tuesday night, Richard Santilli told the Boardman Board of Education that property taxes are down and by 2015, the district will receive $1.7 million less in taxes. He also pointed out there is a $600,000 drop in state funding.

The board is not considering any cost-saving recommendations at this time, but members said they will look over all the information Santilli gave them.
