Years ago, I worked at the K-Mart on Belmont Avenue
as an auto mechanic.  This building would be ideal
for a Wal-Mart, as it is more than large enough inside,
has ample parking and is an EXCELLENT location.

As anyone who has traveled Belmont Avenue know, a number of changes have been taking placwe of late, but the great mystery is concerning WalMart.

For some time now, there has been talk about Walmart opening a store on Belmont Avenue, and two of the sites mentioned are the old K-Mart building and in the Liberty Plaza.

A third site mentioned is a new building at Belmont and Churchill.

Then there is talk of a second store locating on Belmont Avenue.

While the name has not been disclosed, it wouldn't be out of place to ask if it was Target.

If these two stores do open up, there is no question about the fact that we will see a spirt of growth in that area that will be benificial to those who do not necessairly care to shop in Boardman.

Let's hope that Pat Ungaro is right about the development coming to Liberty Township.
