A new CNN/ORC International poll shows the presidential race is still very close in the battleground state of Ohio, where Barack Obama has a 50%-47% margin over Mitt Romney, well within the poll's sampling error of plus or minus 3.5% points.
In the survey, Romney leads among white men 61%-37%, while Obama is the preferred candidate among white women by 51%-46%.
The race in the Buckeye State has remained essentially the same throughout October, with all three CNN/ORC polls taken in the month showing Obama between 50% and 51% and all three showing Romney between 46% and 47%.
