This is the only pertinent line in the whole article, and what it is really about: " The Long Island Progressive Coalition has launched a program with the Laborers' Union that has generated 100 energy audits and promises nearly as many retrofits. This has helped contractors go union and hire union-trained ex-offenders, displaced workers and low-income people, including a fair number of women."  The "This has helped contractors go union" phrase is really the key to the whole thing. Anyone who believes this is about "energy savings" needs their head examined.

And they say there is no good entertainment in Youngstown...  That would be a hoot!

:D Dennis, why don't you move to Youngstown and run for Mayor. Old George Oles lived in Poland but rented a suite in the Hotel Ohio so he could have Youngstown residence, and was elected. You could rent an apartment in the Realty complex and do all the things you've been dreaming of in your "Why not Youngstown" posts?  ;D
